Just some Pokemon X today. A bit more progress but less than I'd like, I was making pace to get to route 8 and get my third pokemon (Bagon) but I wanted to get my Budew enough friendship to evolve. It stops learning moves after level 16, and it's really important to evolve it before level 19 because that's the next move Roselia learns (Magical Leaf). Getting the friendship wasn't actually that annoying, I have almost no way to get more but pokemon gain more friendship in the area where you caught them (a flat +1 point boost to everything) and I do have access to super training, which has soothing bags that give +20 friendship. So after a lot of running around in circles on route 4 and two soothing bags (250 taps only takes like a minute or two), I got enough friendship to evolve it before level 19. You'd think the soothing bags would be super rare, I didn't even know about them until now, but I think all the bags are equally likely? Looking at it now, the bag rarities are apparently not known, besides the reset bag allegedly being much more rare unless you use a pokemon with max EVs. You'd think these games would be much more thoroughly disected than they are.
